The UK author The Booker Prize for the year 2024, for her novel Orbital. The book is a story about six astronauts abroad the International Space Station rotating the Earth. Travelling at a speed of 17,000 miles per hour they observe the passages of weather across the fragility of borders and time zones.  Written in lyrical language, Harvey brilliantly portrays snippets of each of the six individual life and the frailties of life on Earth.
